The SEND TEN Guild Challenge for

These came all the way from The Netherlands. By Leslie Atkins.

If 2,000 of my closest fiber art friends made just 10 pairs of booties each, we could easily attain the goal of 23,000 by Mother’s Day!  This is the idea behind the SEND TEN GUILD CHALLENGE.  Please take it to your knitting/crochet/sewing/quilt or other fiber art group or guild.  Ask them to publicize the challenge.  The challenge is in PDF format below to click, click on the Download PDF button at the top of the document and email it or put it on your Facebook page.  Time is running out!  Help get the word out today!

Calling All Fiber Art Guilds: is a huge community fiber art project to gather 23,000 pairs of handmade black, white, and gray baby booties. Together, these ‘little elegies’ will become part of a traveling art installation to draw attention to the problem of infant mortality in the United States.
